After joining the European Tour in 2006, he earned his PGA card by finishing 18th on the 2005 Challenge Tour’s money list. In 2007, he won his maiden tour victory at the KLM Open.

Ross started the 2008 season with a joint-second place in the HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai. And, in 2009, Ross won seven global top 10’s, which included his victory at the Volvo World Match.
