Bought the shirt for general workout use. Shirt was too large and very thin, almost flimsy, fabric. I bought and returned all three shirts. Ended up buying another brand.
This tee is a slap in the face to the true original Charged Cotton tee that I loved and I don’t know how UA can justify calling this Charged Cotton. For those of us that have the original Charged Cotton tee’s and know what the material is, this shirt in no way resembles it at all. The “Charged Cotton” name should be removed from this shirt. I can understand the updated cut, but the material is a downgrade and nothing like the stretchy comfortable material of the traditional Charged Cotton line that we all love and were expecting. Also not a fan of the Centered UA logo, which also wasn’t how Charged Cotton tee’s were. The material feels dry, scratchy, thin and doesn’t stretch like before. If you take the original Charged Cotton tee’s from years back that we all loved, this version is a major failure and downgrade as almost all the reviews here state. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Great basic stylish T
Fit well and washes well
I’ll be ordering all the colours. The simple design can be worn with training gear or jeans. Love it
This is more like the original charged cotton shirt, which you did away with for some reason.
Pro: extra Long but still slim fit
Con: the original charged cotton was softer. This one is scratchy
Does not feel like the OG version that everyone seems to love, and I liked, but this shirt has a comfortable, more relaxed fit. The cotton feels good on skin, and the upper chest logo is something new that I think works with the logo design...simple, makes way more visual sense than being on the left pec.
Even though the average is rating is low for this style, as a runner/soccer player I have to say that this is a pretty solid buy as a cotton shirt. I'm tired of polyester...it builds up bacteria, and sheds micro plastics everywhere...Finding a cotton blend like UA has done is not easy to get right on a mass manufacturing scale.
Well done UA apparel. Don't
I have only used Under Armour shorts and tops for more years than I care to remember, I have a load of the original charged cotton t-shirts, the material used in the new charged cotton is a step backwards, not as soft or comfortable. I'm hoping someone from Under Armour is actually reading these reviews.
New poly blend charged cottons are misleading. I bought a whole bunch thinking it was the same but the new material is significantly tighter, less breathable, and not as comfortable. Bring back the original Charge Cotton blend already.
I'll echo what almost everyone said here. The original charged cotton T was, by far, the best T-shirt out there. These new ones are terrible! Too long, too thin, too cheap! Bring back the original and I'll buy 100 of them myself!
This shirt just has a great feel to it, fits great and looks even better. Wish it came in more colors
