Best boots I've ever owned

By far the most comfortable reliable boot I've ever had, I was in the army for 5 years and been in law enforcement for 4. I've had them for 2 years and are only now starting to show signs of wear and tear, and the lacing system is awesome. Never broke a lace, never had the laces come untied. 5 stars well deserved

Would be a 5 star boot except for a few issues....

A very comfortable, lightweight boot that I would compare to a minimal shoe. It does have some arch support and the boot takes no time to break in. The BOA lacing system is great and very quick to tighten the boot or take the boot off. I have been wearing the boot now everyday for 8 months and it is holding up very well and has no noticeable signs of wear. Running in the boot is compared to running in a sneaker. The boot is not waterproof in the least bit. Stepping in a puddle goes right through to the sock, which is very disappointing. Also, when going from wet outside to inside on a floor (not carpeted), the tread can be very slippery. Pros: lightweight, BOA system, very comfortable for a 16 hour shift or running, very breathable Cons: Tread can be very slippery when going from outside rain to inside on a floor (which is an issue I have had with a few UA boots), not waterproof

Great all around boot

They are really comfortable and the BOA (wire lace) is really nice for putting them on and off quickly. The best part about the BOA is that you can tighten or loosen them as you see fit. So if you are just sitting around you can wear them loose, and before to go you can quickly tighten them. The wire also has a little catch at the bottom in case the wire breaks on one side it will still tighten. They also have eyelettes in case you need to wear regular laces with them. I have had one pair for about 3 years now and have had no issues with them. I have worn them for all kinds of different events to include every day walking around, in the rain ( they do dry relatively quickly ), hiking and at the shooting range. They are really comfortable and have lasted through a lot of harsh wear and tear. I recommend them.

Great Police boot

Very comfortable, runs a bit small I think due to the toe design, I ordered 1/2 size bigger. I was prepared for sore feet after the first 12hr shift... surprise no issues. I love these boots. Not too hot, seem to breathe well. Lots of compliments on them. BOA system works very well. I hope they last!

Amazing Boot

I never leave reviews but I am doing so because I used the reviews to hone in on buying theses boots! So I will do the same for others.... I bought these boots for work and needed a high quality, light weight and durable foot wear for my job in the medical delivery field.. I am constantly jumping up on a five foot high lift gate and unloading heavy, cumbersome Hospital beds for twelve hour shifts. My previous boots were coming apart so I new I needed to by something of quality but also light weight enough to be able to jump up into the truck... these boots have performed amazingly over the past two months. Pros- The boots fit great and are made of extremely high quality materials. Fit true to size! They are extremely light weight but still offer a ton of stability. The Boa lacing system is simply amazing. I was a little aprehensive about it but now would take it over normal laces any day of the week. It literally makes the boot so easy to take on and off and never comes undone. It is my favorite feature of the boot. To me the boot is not too warm like someone else mentioned and I have worn it in 75 degree weather. If anything my toes get a lil chilly because it has dropped into the teens here in Northern AZ. I also love the rubber/plastic toe cap. I wanted my toes protected because the hospital beds I deliver can mash your feet but I didn’t want a heavy steel toe. This plastic toe cap is the perfect in between steel toe and leather boots. I’m not sure if you can polish this toe for law enforcement purposes? But I love the feature. Cons (few if any to me) The toe area is a little roomie under the toe cap... it worried me a little at first but I am totally used to it now and the boot feels totally normal. Just a little more wiggle room for the toes. The boot is not waterproof but this also doesn’t bother me at all. I have been working in slush the last two weeks and the boots have kept my feet plenty dry... if anything my socks have been the slightest bit damp at the end of the day and I can deal with that... I have even been wearing them hunting recently in 6 inches of snow and they keep my feet dry enough... but I’m not chasing Hooligans through puddles like law enforcement or standing outside in the rain for twelve hours so I can’t speak on that... Overall I am very happy with the purchase. At this stage in my life I wanted something good on my feet because I spend so much time on my feet running around at my job... UA delivered with these boots!!! You will not be dissapointed

Awesome boots

I’ve owned these about 8 months. I read all the reviews and for me some of the discomforts talked about went away after a week or so of wearing them! They are very light, comfortable, durable and easy to put on and off! Couple months ago I bought the waterproof lace up version of them for winter. They are both great but I love the BOA system so much that I usually put these on even if it’s raining out! I would recommend buying 1/2 size bigger because of the toe cap. Never experienced an problems with them being to hot in the summer nor ankle/tongue discomfort! Worth every penny!

Tactical boot = cross trainer x hiking boot

This is a new class of shoe for me. At work (construction management) I wear protection toe boots; after hours a hiking boot. This is just different - but I cannot stop wearing them.

Just right.

I got these for an EMT work boot. Normally my feet are wide, but they fit pretty well. Break in took about a week. Usually the break in is around the feet but this was more the ankle because this is my first time with this lacing system. So far it’s great. Really like the ease of movement when I walk and run. Most boots are still clunky, but this is so light and the design works very well for me.

Excellent Everyday Office to Field Boot

Have the black version and the light brown. Can be dressed up with black pants and as comfortable as slippers with easy BOA system to make putting them on and off like its nothing. My only wish is that had a dark brown version.

Below par for the price

A good boot, but for the price a boot I cant recommend. Below par Pros - The lacing systems works like a charm, creating a snug fit - Good comfort - Surprisingly warm Cons - They are very warm, making the suitable for winter use, but the lack of being waterproof negates this. The breathabilty is under par. After a use for a day in 5C then sole of my feet where wet - The glue used to keep the parts together have discolored the boot making them look dirty and cheap - A little snug in the toe
