The upper material feels like hard plastic and there is 100% NO CUSHION on the bottom. The right tongue gives blisters on the ankle. Amazing look ... horrible feel.
When I first got these shoes, I thought they were totally awesome from my practice at the gym. I even went ahead and bought another pair in a different color because they were so cool. The traction on them is fantastic, and they provide great ankle support as well. I have not worn low tops for a long time but I felt comfortable with the support on these. Then I went to a tournament and played in them...by the second game my socks and shoes had blood on both insides of my ankles where the shoes had rubbed my skin raw. I really like the look and traction of these shoes, but they are far to painful for me to play in.
These are easily the worst basketball shoe I’ve ever worn and I’ve worn a lot of shoes. They are very uncomfortable and restrict a lot of movement you need in basketball. I want a refund, these shoes are horrible
I got a pair of these for Christmas for my son and we tested them out the next week when he goes to work out with his dad at 4:30 AM, and he came home with his ankles bleeding
These sneakers were amazing when I first purchased them but about 4 months in, after only using them once a week for indoor basketball league games, the top rung shoe lace hole ripped and I was forced to tie the shoe on the second rung. I tried to use them that way despite it feeling loose at times. 6 months after purchase, 2 months after the hole ripped, I decided I was going to use these as my outdoor throwaway shoes. Playing with these shoes tied on the second rung on the cement forced my feet forward two much and gave me a black toenail in my big toe. I'm so disappointing right now. I really loved these shoes. I wish the hole never ripped.
Love the fit and feel of this show but unfortunately, the laces began ripping out of the holes after less than 6 hours on the court. Very disappointed with the durability.
The shoe as a whole is decent, but one major flaw is that the tongue cuts into my ankles. Both ankles have blisters in the same area and playing in the shoe is extremely painful. The sour patch colorway is great but the pain from the tongue itself is unbearable to play in and forced me to resort to other shoes.
Shoes are super comfortable and look awesome. I’ve been hooping in them for about a month and they still have terrible grip. Very unfortunate
The shoe overall looks great, however the shoe wasn’t as comfortable as the curry 6. Granted the ankle support in the curry 7 felt better the shoe also felt heavier and I felt like I couldn’t perform the same I felt slower and felt I had to add more strength to my jump shot. With the curry 6s they were very light you could move quicker your feet could breath and flex more, I felt I could come of a screen faster and hit my catch and shoot much better than in the curry 7s where I felt slower and weighed down by them.
This is one of my favorite performance basketball shoes of all time, but the constant ankle blisters have ruined my enjoyment with the shoes. I really hope under armor can fix this issue with their next installment of the Curry signature shoe line. The cut is specifically on the inside of my ankle directly below the bone.
