I love the look and feel of these pants. I went out for a couple of runs in 20 degree weather and was pleased with how warm my lower half stayed. I'm not sure I'd wear them in temperatures too much higher than freezing. At 6'1" I was worried about the inseam but it was plenty long in XL. However, when tied around the waist (not up by the navel), they felt/hung noticeably low in the crotch. I will still pull them out for my cold weather runs (and perhaps bikes), but I may have to roll the waistband as suggested in another review.
I received these today and put them on right away. The first thing I noticed is that I had limited motion in my step and lifting my knee up. The crotch is low, it is actually the first thing that my wife noticed before I even said anything. If I roll the waist down once they fit perfect. The waist band is 2". If I pull them up to fit to my liking the waist band is around my belly button. "Hello Carl what are you aiming to do with that ax handle" From the top of the waistband to the lowest part of the crotch is 13". The inseam of the mediums is 30". I wear a 32" waist and the waist on these mediums fit perfect. 3 exercises that bother me with these pants are: Jogging, step-ups, lunges, and walking up stairs. They catch the front of my thighs and give a feeling of restriction. Just got some feedback from my wife, she thought I had bought some of those new "drop crotch" pants.
