As mentioned time and time again in this review forum, the original charged cotton shirts were amazing. The shirt felt and fit great, I'm 6'4 and it was one of the few shirts out there that was long enough that the whole gym wouldn't see my stomach while doing chin ups. Then the "improved" version of this shirt was released. It was definitely a step back, the fabric was slightly thinner and would pill a little where the originals didn't, BUT it still had that original fit so I could live with that. After a few years with these "improved" shirts it was time for some new ones and I was heartbroken to see they have been changed yet again! They are downright terrible now. It is so bad I thought I was sent the wrong shirt when I received it in the mail. They also changed the sizing. For me and for many others this was my go-to Under Armor shirt. This is what separated you guys from every other company out there. Under Armour should be downright embarrassed about what they did to this shirt. Yes I know, your product team is constantly working to develop gear that best suits your athletes and their needs, but how about you develop something that meets your customers needs! The 100's of thousands of us paying customers far outweigh the # of athletes on your payroll. Now that this shirt is gone I have no need for this company anymore. Time for me to find something that fits again.
These used to be one of my favourite shirts as I've owned 20-30 of them!. I Just bought 4 new ones and they are not the same quality! Fit feels inconsistent. I usually buy M/L and decided to get M this time, with all 4 having a different fit. 3/4 run on the tighter side and tighter in different areas compared to the next, while 1/4 fits perfectly. The quality definitely feels like a downgrade and won't last. Probably be returning them and won't be buying more. UA lost a customer for now and looks like a lot more base on the reviews of the new ''style''. Bring back the old Charged cotton please!.
Overall great shirt, although I loved the old style this version is great as well.
I was hoping to get the same quality as my original charged cotton (95% cotton, 5% elastane) but was greatly disappointed. Please UA bring back the original!
I, like 95% of the reviewers, can't stand this shirt due to the paper thin material and the horrible fit. I own 6 of the old 2017-2018? style and absolutely love them and have almost worn them out.
I check back to this site every so often with the hope they will bring them back. Every time I check, I am disappointed they don't have the old ones and have this junk. I absolutely would not recommend this shirt at all.
PLEASE bring back the Charged Cotton ones!
They have wrecked this shirt. I own maybe 30 of the originals and for whatever reason they have made them cheap and a poor quality. Please change them back!
Bring back the old cotton charged T-shirt’s the new ones suck
T-shirts are made very thin and cheap wearing.Neck hole to open looks like I’m wearing a woman’s T-shirt. Under armour needs to go back to the drawing board and bring back what the customers were use to.I guess the new style makes them more profit
Why would UA ruin such a good thing? Every spring I purchase about 8 to 10 UA charged cotton tees to wear throughout the summer months - I look forward to this every year. The old style charged cotton tees were literally the best tee out there in terms of fit and material. I'd then, wear the worn UA tees from the previous year around the house doing yard work and odd jobs. The durability, and comfort was second to none. These new tees are garbage, the fabric is light and feels cheap, and the cut is terrible - as a loyal UA customer from way back I am very much disappointed in what Under Armour has done. Please, hear your customers, and BRING THE OLD UA CHARGED COTTON TEES BACK!!!!
I am a big guy. I ordered the 5XL because of the material and how it will shrink. The shirts felt nice and looked fine, but the neck size is HUGE on the larger sizes. It felt like a V-Neck. Have to return them.
